| Igor Stjepanovic
| A native of Windsor, Ontario, Igor Stjepanovic returns as Head Coach after leading the team last summer. The 2024 BNS U15 Boy’s had an overall record of 8-1, won the Scotia Showcase Championship, and placed 5th at Nationals. Currently, Stjepanovic enters his 2nd season with the Men’s basketball program at Acadia University as the lead assistant coach. Prior to joining the Axemen, he spent four years at the University of Windsor as the lead assistant coach where he helped the program return to top ten national status. During this time, Stjepanovic also served as assistant coach with the Hamilton Honey Badgers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League for three seasons. The final season cultivated in a CEBL Championship. Stjepanovic also spent two seasons with Western University as a graduate assistant. In addition to his high-performance experience, Stjepanovic coached high school boys and girls throughout Ontario for five years.Stjepanovic is a graduate from the University of Windsor where he earned a Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree in Movement Science. He is a graduate of Western University where he earned his Master’s in Leadership & Management, specializing in coaching. He is also a graduate of Acadia University where he completed his Bachelor of Education. |
| Keenan Sparks | Keenan, from Halifax, Nova Scotia, brings a wealth of experience as both a player and coach. He is currently in his final year of the Bachelor of Social Work program at Dalhousie University, after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of King's College in 2021. During his collegiate years, Keenan played three seasons of basketball for King’s College (2016-2019) in the ACAA league, after his high school career at Citadel High School. Keenan is the head coach of the JL Ilsley Boys Varsity Basketball Program and the U14 Division 1 Community Y Panthers. He is entering his second year leading the JL Ilsley team and his fourth year leading the U14 Panthers, having secured back-to-back provincial championships. His coaching experience also includes head coaching roles at Highland Park Junior High School (2021-2023) and serving as an assistant coach at Citadel High School (2019-2023). |
| Campbell Colpitts | Growing up in Halifax, Campbell has been part of the Basketball Nova Scotia (BNS) Provincial Team Program as both an athlete and a coach. After winning a national championship in 2015 as an athlete, Campbell went on to play 5 years in the ACAA at the University of King's College and Mount Saint Vincent University, where he was named a league all-star. Campbell has had the privilege of coaching both boys and girls over the past few seasons. Along with coaching at MSVU, Campbell was the head coach of the U15 girls provincial team, and assistant coach with the Charles P. Allen Cheetahs who won a high school provincial championship this past season. Campbell is currently an elementary school teacher at West Bedford School in Bedford, NS. |
