Basketball Nova Scotia Launches Junior Performance Excellence Program (J-PEP)

Mar. 07, 2025

Basketball Nova Scotia (BNS) is excited to introduce the Junior Performance Excellence Program (J-PEP) for U13 and U14 athletes across the province!

J-PEP aims to identify and support high-potential athletes, providing them with enhanced development opportunities as they progress in their basketball journeys.

What Are J-PEP ID Sessions?

J-PEP Identification (ID) Sessions are designed to evaluate athletes' skills, athleticism, and potential for high-performance development. Players will participate in drills, scrimmages, and skill assessments led by experienced coaches. These sessions serve as the first step in selecting athletes for the J-PEP training program.

Sessions will be held in multiple regions, with the first taking place in Halifax, Dartmouth, and Cape Breton.
