Awards Bursary Program

We are proud to launch our Awards Bursary Program to support participation of Nova Scotia athletes and coaches in their training and attendance at the 2024 U15 and U17 National Basketball Championships. 

We have set a campaign goal of 60 $1000 Award Bursaries which will go to support each one of our athletes and coaches as they participate in Canada Basketball’s premier national amateur sport events for the Canadian basketball community in August. 

Award Bursary supporters will be entitled to the following benefits: 

• Invitation to attend the BNS Awards & Recognition event at Mount Saint Vincent University on October 5.  

• Personalized social media video messaging from athletes thanking supporters 

• Recognition on the Basketball Nova Scotia website 

• Supporter name on the 2024 Provincial Team T-Shirt which athletes will wear at the National Championships 

• Supporter name on the 2024 Provincial Team banner which will go to both Newfoundland and Ontario for the championships. 
   

We know that sport has the power to change lives. But affording sport can be a barrier for many. Help us make participation more inclusive.
