We are thrilled to announce that Justine Colley-Leger, a Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame inductee and the all-time leading scorer in CIS women’s basketball, has joined us as our new Performance Lead. Justine will oversee BNS performance programming with an eye for excellence and development.
Known for her exceptional contributions as a two-time CIS National Player of the Year and a seasoned Canadian national team member, Justine brings unparalleled expertise to our performance programming. Her legacy as an athlete and leader, most recently celebrated by Saint Mary’s University, makes her a dynamic addition to our team.
Halifax Grammar School’s current Athletic Director, Justine has dedicated her life to empowering young women in sport, as highlighted in a recent profile by Saint Mary’s University (https://news.smu.ca/news/2024/2/12/justine-colley-leger-inspiring-young-women-with-her-legacynbsp). When not on the basketball court or at Halifax Grammar, Justine loves to garden, cook and spend time with her family.
