Halifax, NS — The Board of Directors of Basketball Nova Scotia (BNS) is now accepting applications for two (2) positions on the Board of Directors for a 2-year term starting in 2024, with the possibility of renewal. BNS is especially committed to building a Board that represents the diversity and regional breadth of Nova Scotia’s communities. Travel compensation is available for Board members located outside the Halifax area.
Board members are expected to attend 4-5 meetings per year, which may be held in-person or virtually, participate in at least one Board committee, and support BNS events and initiatives where possible.
Applications will be accepted until close of business on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Candidates will be selected by the BNS Nominating Committee, and new Board members will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
